“Koch” derives from Ferox Koch, the first agave used to create pulque, a sacred Aztec drink symbolizing the origins of agave’s cultural significance. Koch El Mezcal offers a smoky nose with overripe fruits, mint, violets, and pineapple, a palate of roasted pineapple, coconut, roses, and cinnamon, and a finish of ripe stone fruits, sweet spice, and a hint of pepper.
