Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2011

The sixth release in Bruichladdich’s Islay Barley series, the 2011 is the product of barley grown on six western and central Islay farms in 2010.  Bruichladdich, a distillery that holds the philosophy of barley experimentation close to their heart. They accurately describe the production of barley on Islay as a labour of love. Their Isaly Barley 2011 is a testament to that love, of 75% American whiskey casks and 25% wine casks. This unpeated, natural coloured and un-chillfiltered expression has been designed to showcase the barley.
