ABOUT THE BOTTLE
Founded in 1810 and resurrected in 1963 after a lengthy period of closure, the malt from Jura is known for its malty, oaky, fruity and toffee-like notes, although it has been producing peated whiskies for many years now and devotes 2 weeks a year to producing peated malt with a phenol specification of 45ppm. Distilled in 1992 and matured in a single bourbon barrel, this expression of Jura represents the oldest ever Single Malt Scotch Whisky release from The Single Cask (in terms of age statement) and has hints of tropical fruits, oak, malt and a touch of wood spices.
