A mechanic savoring a croissant and a hiker cleaning dusty boots set the scene for a palate of whiskey-infused porridge, PX sherry, and marzipan with sherry cask-aged beer. A splash of water brought notes of cigar smoke and cider, evoking reflections on the journey as its own reward. Aged 14 years in ex-bourbon, it was finished in a first-fill Spanish oak oloroso hogshead.
