The Provenance Ben Nevis 10 Year Old 2012 is a Highland single malt from the Ben Nevis distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing in their Provenance series. Distilled in November 2012 and aged in refill hogshead DL17302, it was bottled in March 2023 at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added color. This limited release consists of 361 bottles.
Nose: Rich and bold with notes of cereal, cocoa, citrus, mocha, and aromatic spices.
Palate: Sugary, alcohol-soaked citrus emerges first, followed by barley.
Finish: Honey takes the lead, accompanied by soft, dry spices and a grainy texture.
