This smoky Ledaig single malt hails from the Tobermory Distillery. Distilled in 2010, it spent 9 years maturing in a single refill hogshead before being bottled by Douglas Laing for the Provenance series, with a limited release of 411 bottles.
Nose: Smoky, coastal, with notes of cured meats.
Palate: Sweet berries, bacon, and peat smoke.
Finish: Salted caramel, dark chocolate, and a hint of ginger.
