This is the higher-proof version of Hunter Laing’s Scarabus, an Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery, featuring specially selected casks and bottled at a bold 57% ABV—boosting its core of robust, smoky character. Expect aromas of oak, pear, apple, and rising smoke; a palate of pink peppercorn, chili flake, vanilla, and honey; and a finish of toffee, honeycomb, and a hint of ash.
