The Nelstrop family founded England’s first whisky distillery in over a century in 2005, using Norfolk barley and Breckland water. Opened by HRH Prince Charles in 2007, The English Whisky Company produces 150,000 bottles annually and has earned multiple awards. Its whisky is light, fresh, and fragrant, with notes of vanilla, tropical fruits, and a smooth, slightly spicy finish.
