The latest Timorous Beastie, ‘Meet the Beast’ limited edition is here. Part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range, the big blend of Highland Scotch whisky was matured in 100% bourbon casks and bottled at a cask strength of 54.3% ABV, with no colour added and no chill-filtration.
The 2023 edition comes with a gift tube, inside of which are specially designed glasses in the style of old comic books that will reveal certain hidden secrets of this whisky and unveil the beast…
Nose : A truly colossal burst of sweet vanilla, citrus and juicy barley.
Palate : Soft, warm mouthfeel with notes of freshly baked gingerbread, a hint of liquid honey, and a gentle spice.
Finish : Long, with a rich abundance of sweet meringue and caramels.
