On the spine-tingling night of October 28, 2023, Gasket Alley transformed into the hotspot for all things spooktacular. A spirited collaboration between Fifth and The Good Stuff, the hauntingly themed ‘Graveyard Shift’ unfolded. And let us tell you – it delivered chills, thrills, and (most importantly) delicious boozy spills!
During the day, the location hosted a bazaar with goodies from noon until midnight. The spooky decorations set the Halloween tone, turning the venue into an eerie haunt. Dimly-lit jack-o’-lanterns, cobweb-draped corners, and faux tombstones created a spooky scene that gave even the bravest a spooky fun! From quirky, retro-inspired attire to glistening jewels waiting to adorn the creatures of the night, there was something for every shopper.
But the real hoot at the event was the boo-th (get it?) by The Good Stuff. Helmed by experienced bartenders, they stirred spirits…literally! With Halloween-themed cocktails like the Emergency Energy Potion & Voodoo G&T, featuring the exquisite Monkey 47 Dry Gin, adding a dash of sophistication to the spookiness.
Once the witching hour approached, at 9 pm sharp, the bone-rattling after-party commenced! DJ Anelka, Li Yi, and Neverprof spun their wicked musical web, enchanting every soul with tunes deserving the danse macabre. Spirits were high (not just the drinkable ones), and the dance floor was shaken by zombies, vampires, and werewolves alike – Halloween costumes have never looked so alive!
The Graveyard Shift was a perfect blend of spook and groove. People danced in their costumes, holding cocktails, with laughter echoing through the haunted hallways of the Gasket Alley as DJ’s bewitching beats filled the air.
To all those who couldn’t make it to this year’s spookfest, take this as a hearty nudge. The Graveyard Shift wasn’t just another Halloween party—it was THE Halloween party. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for what Halloween 2024 has in store, because after the Graveyard Shift, you probably won’t want to miss what’s coming next!
