In light of the RMCO, many of us have been missing our favourite bars. Realising this, the folks at Chivas Regal Malaysia teamed up with a handful of famous bars across the Klang Valley to come up with – Bar United.
What is Bar United?
Bar United is a virtual experience where you and our friends can frequent your favourite bars. The idea behind bar united was to provide people with a platform to reminisce by ‘hanging out’ at their bar of choice while also bringing business to local bars.
As of now there are 15 bars which you can order drinks from including (but not limited to) 61 Monarchy, Astor Bar, Circa, Saro Lounge, HYDE 53m and The Iron Fairies to name a few venues – with more to come!
Bar Tails
Just like in real life, the first place you’d want to head to in a bar is… well, the bar of course! Bar-Tails is an area in Bar United where you can order drinks and even bar snacks depending on the bar you choose.
To begin, select the venue you wish to order from. Once you’ve done that, a prompt will appear which allows you to choose your bartender of choice:
After showing your favourite bartender some love, you’ll finally be able to browse through your selected venue’s menu and order away!
Whether it be cocktails or whole bottles, Bar Tails will have your order delivered to your home – unless you really miss your favourite bar and opt to make a physical pick-up instead.
Hangout Arena
Moving on, there’s also a large Hangout Arena in Bar United where several ‘tables’ can be found. These tables which seat up to four people are essentially group chats that you can join.
Upon joining a table, you can then access the website’s video call and chat functionalities. This feature also comes equipped with table games for you and your friends to play!
Should you feel the need to have a more intimate experience with only your group of friends, you could make your table private and order each a round of drinks for them.
Bar Talks
Clicking on the virtual DJ booth will lead you to Bar Talks; a podcast featuring intimate conversations with various people in the industry.

The Marketplace & Bar-United Points
With every purchase you make on Bar United, you will gain points and unlock achievements to redeem vouchers that can be used for virtual purchases. Simply redeem and convert your points by heading to the Bar-United Points Redemption Kiosk at The Hangout Arena.
The Marketplace on the other hand will redirect you to a link where you can stock up on your favourite drinks courtesy of Pernod Ricard Malaysia.
